　　理性消费是指消费者在消费能力允许的条件下，按照追求效用最大化原则进行的消费。从心理学的角度看，理性消费是消费者根据自己的经验和直觉做出合理的购买决策;当物质还不充裕时，理性消费者追求的是价廉物美且经久耐用的商品。

　　那么，如何理性消费呢?

　　1、不为商家所谓的打折、清仓、跳楼价、节日优惠等宣传口号所惑，坚持有用才买，没有用的东西坚决不买。比如偶然看到一件商品在降价促销，但其实家里已经有一个了，由于没有机会马上投入使用，甚至更糟的是，你都不会用到它，所以这项支出是不理性的，因为它占用了资金。

　　2、不跟风、不盲目听信广告，要学会动脑筋独立思考。又比如当下很流行的补钙，其实所有的补钙产品都是碳酸钙，进入中国药典的葡萄糖酸钙才100粒2元，而保健品的补钙产品100粒就要几十元。所以在某种程度上讲，吃这个保健产品其实是吃广告。

　　3、买衣服时，售货员一般会先夸你几句，比如说你身材好、有气质、皮肤好等，以创造友好气氛，但不要为此放松自己的警惕性，其实他们向你献殷勤全是为了提高他们的绩效。

　　Rational consumption refers to consuming under the guidance of the utility maximization principle, when the economic condition permitting. Psychologically speaking, a wise consumption decision is made according to the consumers’ intuition and experience; when being not affluent, the consumers need durable goods of high quality and low price most.

　　Then, how to consume in a rational way ?

　　1. Keep calm in front of the cluster of propaganda slogans of discount, clearance sale, dirt cheap price and sales promotion during holidays. Insist on purchasing the things that are needed and avoiding those of no use. For instance, catching sight of a commodity on sale, in fact you already have one at home , but you buy it out of impulse, this expense is irrational because it is not immediately used, or even worse, you will not use it for good and occupies the limited resources.

　　2. Do not follow the trend or lose your mind facing the advertising messages. Set your wits to work. Take the currently popular calcium supplement for example, in essence, calcium supplement products are calcium carbonate; however, the average health care calcium supplement products should have been at dozens of Yuan for 100 pellets while calglucon, incorporated into the Chinese Pharmacopeia, is at a mere RMB2 for the same pellets. In a sense, choosing this prohibitive product is to pay for the advertisement fees.

　　3. Do not be lured in by the salesmen’s insincere flattery, such as nice figure, charming temperament and good complexion when shopping for clothes. Never relax your vigilance for by doing so they just want to create a friendly atmosphere first. Actually, they pay court to you all in the name of money.
